Carla Mills -Founder/Curator
Carla P. Mills, Founder & Curator, of Ladies First Fridays, is a South Carolina native and alumni of the University of South Carolina. During her 33-year career in transportation and logistics, she executed at a high level and engaged with business owners and corporate entities across the east coast. Driven to succeed at a young age, Carla always had an insatiable entrepreneurial spirit. Her first business venture was Lady C’s Boutique, a pop-up boutique offering lingerie and jewelry in 1990. For many years, she’s assisted her family in operating several businesses including a construction company, a restaurant, concessions and catering service. She is currently the Agent Owner of Richland Group LLC (enrollwithcarla.com).
In true entrepreneurial spirit when she returned to Columbia, SC in 2019 after living in the upstate for 20 years, she sought to fill a noticeable void with respect to social connectivity and networking opportunities for professional women and entrepreneurs.
Ladies First Fridays was born out of a vision to connect with others to intentionally highlight and host elevating conversations around your Heath, Wealth, and Well-Being. The Columbia Midlands area aligned perfectly to launch dynamic Ladies Night Out events to be held on First Fridays! The events deliver a high vibration atmosphere, serves up good music, good fun, and a good time! #Elevate
